Neuco employees braved unseasonably cold weather in May then confronted storms and sweltering heat in June to send three separate groups of employees to different DuPage County Forest Preserves. Our teams helped clear brush, remove invasive growth, cut off seeds from undesirable grasses, and planted young native plants which will be replanted at maturity in forest preserves all across DuPage. This work is done in the effort to help restore habitats, promote native growth, and allow these spaces to be enjoyable locations for the public to visit for years to come.

Neuco employees donated a total of 27 units of blood to the American Red Cross as part of a blood drive hosted at the company. These blood donations will help alleviate the nation's emergency blood shortage and ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not delayed.

A team of Neuco employees and family came out on a Sunday to make tie-blankets to donate. In total, 34 blankets were made!

Neuco employees used their volunteer day to visit the Northern Illinois Food Bank, where they helped in the food pantry. The Northern IL Food Bank serves 13 counties, providing over a quarter of a million meals each and every day. They also help coordinate groceries, farmers, and manufacturers to facilitate food donation and distribution to more than 900 different food pantries in the Northern IL area.

4 K.I.D.S. Sake is a non-profit organization that strives to assist and advocate on the behalf of children to better the lives of kids in difficult situations by fulfilling whatever their needs may be. Members of the Neuco team volunteered their time at the 4 K.I.D.S. Sake Food Pantry to help families in need.
